Miranda Cooper
Principal Solicitor
Miranda Cooper is the Principal Solicitor at Cooper Law Group, a criminal defence firm with offices in Sydney, Wagga Wagga, and Albury. She holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of New South Wales (UNSW), where she was awarded the Women in Leadership Scholarship. Additionally, Miranda earned a Bachelor of Arts/Laws from the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA) and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law. She is admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and the High Court of Australia.
Miranda has a strong background in public legal services, having worked with Legal Aid NSW, the Aboriginal Legal Service (ALS), and the North Australian Aboriginal Justice Agency (NAAJA). Her experience includes providing legal assistance to disadvantaged communities across New South Wales and the Northern Territory.

Daniel Carey
Practice Manager
Daniel is the Practice Manager at Cooper Law Group, bringing a wealth of experience from diverse sectors. Raised on a farm in Boorowa, New South Wales, Daniel holds a Bachelor degree in Business and has a background in International Account Management. He also served in the Royal Australian Air Force, where he developed strong leadership and operational skills.
In his current role at Cooper Law Group, Daniel leverages his expertise in negotiation, client relations, compliance, and effective communication to enhance the firm's operations. His ability to decipher complex scenarios ensures the delivery of efficient and client-focused legal services.
Daniel's unique blend of agricultural roots, business acumen, and military discipline enables him to manage the practice with a strategic and grounded approach, contributing significantly to the firm's success and reputation.
